Many insurance plans and companies exist, and understanding your medical care benefits can often be stressful. At our outpatient surgery center, we accept Aetna, Health Net, Cigna and United, but can also accommodate patients with other plans, and we also offer competitive pricing.

Insurance Plans Accepted
At the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, we will work with your medical provider to confirm your coverage, and we accept all PPO plans (Preferred Provider Organizations). PPO plans tend to be the most popular types of insurance because they generally allow the most freedom in selection of a healthcare facility or provider. For patients with insurance providers outside of our accepted plans, or for patients without insurance, we can offer a competitive cash discount. The Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence can determine specific payment arrangements for patients without insurance.
Payment Arrangements and Fees
When you undergo surgery at the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, multiple services may be involved, which are then factored into the overall cost of care. There will be a facility fee charged for each procedure performed at the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. Our outpatient facility fee does not include fees for your consulting physician, surgeon, anesthesiologist or required laboratory and pathology work, and these additional fees vary from procedure to procedure.
Patients are responsible for any and all procedure payments. If you have insurance, you must pay your estimated co-payments and deductible prior to your surgery. We accept personal checks (co-pay only), cash, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card. We then will bill your insurance carrier on your behalf.
